Ethnography, from the Greek ethno (nation, people) + graphein(writing), is the main method used by anthropology in collecting data that allows the study of ethnicities, aiming to establish general lines of development of societies.
The Ethnographic collection of the Lourinhã Museum focuses on the way of life and the main activities practiced in the region from the end of the 19th century to the 20th century, covering:
